A SEAL team helicopter is shot down by a group of insurgents while conducting a rescue operation to evacuate a group of missionaries during the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan in 2021. Master Chief Richard Mirko, one of the SEAL team operators, miraculously survived the crash and was pulled from the wreckage. Mirko continues his search for the missionaries after the rest of his team dies in action. However, he discovers that their vehicle has been attacked, leaving only one survivor is a 5-year-old kid.
