Mike and his team are attacked by a group of rowdy men while traveling on a tour bus in the mountains. Mike has to battle to save the bus people and the villagers around. The film is directed by Jonathan Hensleigh. The story this time is not on ice roads as in the first part but on steep mountain roads in Nepal. There are a lot of suspenseful scenes with battles, guns, and action on cliff tops and narrow roads. The film was shot primarily in Australia and partly in Nepal as well. The film was enjoyed by some for its thrilling scenes and Liam Neeson's powerful acting. Others didn't enjoy it since the plot is very simple and there is no ice road, despite the name of the film.
